These photos will go down as some of my all time favorite photos ever! However, the journey to get there was tricky. After Hailee + Derek had to completely change plans of what their wedding would look like, they made one thing known- they wanted amazing bridals. After careful planning, we decided we would hike to an amazing destination! When it was time to do their bridals we all jumped in our car to make a quick trip to the mountains. As we were driving, we came up some insane traffic that completely closed the road northward down. We sat there for about 40 mins praying that it would open but no luck. Losing light, we decided to live on a prayer and took a dirt road for the next two hours. We eventually made it to our destination but we were losing light fast! Carrying Hailee’s dress + all our camera gear, we literally ran down the mountain so catch the sunset in time. This was MILES. We made it in time to get the most gorgeous light and I’m so happy everything worked out in the end! The following weekend, Hailee + Derek made it official and were sealed in the Meridian, Idaho Temple. It was such a beautiful day!
